Rs 7 lakh bank robbery: Police release suspects’ sketches

The police have released sketches of three suspects in the Rs7-lakh bank robbery. The Amritsar (Rural) police said the suspects executed the robbery. The police added that they were working on different theories to crack the broad daylight robbery. Police teams are raiding the hideouts of the suspects.

SSP Vikram Jeet Duggal said after questioning the jail staff, the police prepared sketches of three suspects who were involved in the crime. The SSP added that investigations revealed that the suspects had looted Rs7.83 lakh from a Punjab and Sind bank branch located in Chhajjalwadi village on December 7.

Besides, they also snatched the rifle of a security guard. The SSP urged the people to inform the police on 9780003387 and 8054104837 in case they have any input regarding the suspects. A case under Section 395 of the IPC and Sections 25, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act was registered against unidentified persons.
