Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today said soon a masterpiece entry point plaza would be constructed near Sri Durgiana Mandir to provide best facilities to devotees coming to pay obeisance at the shrine.

Interacting with mediapersons after paying obeisance at the temple here today, the Deputy Chief Minister said the Punjab government was working on the master plan to construct a world-class entry plaza near the entrance of Sri Durgiana Mandir. He said the government would try its best to complete the plaza in the next three to four months.

“One of the best architects have been engaged to design this plaza and all plans will be finalised in a meeting scheduled for the next week,” he added. Badal said the plaza would host adequate parking, besides other required facilities.

“I am personally monitoring ongoing development projects in the holy city. Amritsar will be equated with best cities of the world once all projects are complete,” he added.
