City boy selected for R-Day celebrations

PATIALA:Arshpreet Singh Toor, a Class X student of Senior Secondary Model School, Punjabi University, has been selected to participate in the Republic Day celebrations to be held at Janpath in New Delhi on January 26.

Patiala, January 4

Arshpreet Singh Toor, a Class X student of Senior Secondary Model School, Punjabi University, has been selected to participate in the Republic Day celebrations to be held at Janpath in New Delhi on January 26. 

Arshpreet, a cadet of 3-Punjab Air Squadron Air Wing NCC Patiala, will participate in a cultural programme. 

Satvir Singh, a school lecturer, said, “Arshpreet was selected after a long training and competition process. He has made the school proud.”

Congratulating Arshpreet’s parents, the school principal, SK Nirmal Goyal,  said his participation would bring laurels to the school.
