The local police will observe Police Commemoration Day on October 21.
Addressing a function at Polo Grounds here on Tuesday as part of celebration of Police Commemoration week, SP Manjit Brar, said the aim was to sensitise young children towards the sacrifices made by police and paramilitary forces.
PRTC Chairman KK Sharma, said, “The sacrifices made by the police an inspiration for us.” The day is celebrated on October 21 every year. — TNS
