Fire breaks out at incense factory in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, October 6

A major fire broke out at an incense (‘dhoop’) factory in Industrial area Phase II here on Friday, officials said.

The fire department officials said many workers at the factory fell unconscious and some of them were hospitalised.

Several fire tenders were pressed into service, they said.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, the officials said. PTI
