CHANDIGARH:Four persons have been booked for attempt to murder after they allegedly attacked a man with sharp weapons at Makhan Majra and threatened him with a pistol.

Four persons have been booked for attempt to murder after they allegedly attacked a man with sharp weapons at Makhan Majra and threatened him with a pistol. 

According to the police, the complainant, Jaspal Singh, a resident of Makhan Majra village, alleged that Sunny, Babu, Hardeep Singh, alias Honey, Navdeep Singh, alias Money, and others attacked him with swords and sticks near a local dhabha on October 10. 

The victim also alleged that the accused were carrying a country-made pistol, which they used to threaten him. 

Jaspal Singh was seriously injured in the attack and was rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Sector 32. 

The police were informed about the incident, following which a case under the IPC and the Arms Act was registered at the Mauli Jagran police station. 

The police have arrested two of the accused — Hardeep Singh (25), alias Honey, and Navdeep Singh (21), alias Money, both residents of Makhan Majra. — TNS
