KXIP to play all their IPL home matches at Mohali

CHANDIGARH:Kings XI Punjab will play all their Indian Premier League home matches at IS Bindra PCA Stadium in Mohali.



Chandigarh, March 19

Kings XI Punjab will play all their Indian Premier League home matches at IS Bindra PCA Stadium in Mohali. 

Last year, the side had played just four of its seven home matches at Mohali.   

The BCCI on Tuesday released the full schedule of the league matches starting March 23. A total 56 matches will be played during the six-week tournament. 

The schedule of this year’s edition was released in parts by the BCCI in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections that would be held  in seven phases stretched across April and May. 

Earlier, the BCCI had announced the schedule of the first 17 matches only that will be played during the two-week period from March 23 to April 5 across the eight home venues of the respective franchises. 

Kings XI Punjab will open their campaign against Rajasthan Royals at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on March 25. — TNS/Agencies
