Chandigarh, July 9

Levanshu Khullar and Tarini Goyal won the titles on the last of the Chandigarh Chess Championship at St Xavier's Senior Secondary School, Sector 44. Levanshu took the top spot in the U-17 open category by scoring four points.  

Arnav Kushwaha scored four points along with Divyank Bhatt, Jaspreet Singh and Vedant Joshi, to finish joint-second.        

Tarini won the girls' U-17 title by scoring 4½ points. Mitali Saini, Nikita Goel and Shirin Bhattacharyya claimed the joint-second position with three points each.   Levanshu and Arnav (Open U-17) and Tarini and Mitali (girls U-17) will play in the national championship.—TNS
