PANCHKULA:Leaders of various Opposition parties were arrested by the police for showing black flags to Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in the Kalka Assembly segment today.

Leaders of various Opposition parties were arrested by the police for showing black flags to Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in the Kalka Assembly segment today.

Senior Congress leader Manveer Kaur Gill, state Congress secretary Rajesh Kona, Giani Sukhdev Singh, NSUI leader Deepanshu Bansal, Jannayak Janata Party leaders Bhag Singh Damdama, Satinder Toni and Amit Sonkar were arrested and released after eight hours.

The Opposition leaders claimed that during the past five years, Kalka has seen highest rate of unemployment. — TNS
