Panjab varsity to host 12th Chandigarh Science Congress

Chandigarh: Panjab University and the Chandigarh Region Innovation and Knowledge Cluster (CRIKC) will organise a three-day conference, 12th Chandigarh Science Congress (CHASCON-2018), from February 12 to February 14 on the theme ‘Science and Society Interface: Exploration of Cost-effective and Efficient Technologies through Physical and Natural Sciences’ at Panjab University, Chandigarh.



Chandigarh: Panjab University and the Chandigarh Region Innovation and Knowledge Cluster (CRIKC) will organise a three-day conference, 12th Chandigarh Science Congress (CHASCON-2018), from February 12 to February 14 on the theme ‘Science and Society Interface: Exploration of Cost-effective and Efficient Technologies through Physical and Natural Sciences’ at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Since its inception in 2007, the Science Congress has come a long way and continues to encourage young and innovative minds to pursue career in Science by providing a suitable platform to enhance their research acumen through interaction with eminent scientists in varied Science disciplines. Prof Promila Pathak, Department of Botany, PU, is the coordinator and Prof Sonal Chawla, Department of Computer Science and Applications, PU, is the co-coordinator for the CHASCON, 2018. They informed that several scientists and experts would participate and deliberate on its theme. TNS
