Purse snatched in Sector 36
Chandigarh: An unknown pedestrian escaped after snatching a purse from a man in Sector 36 on Tuesday evening. According to the police, the complainant, Sonu, a resident of Dadu Majra Colony, Chandigarh, alleged that an unknown pedestrian snatched his purse containing Rs 5,700 and important documents near Kala Sagar, Sector 36. Accomplices of the accused also thrashed him. The police were informed about the incident. A case has been registered against the accused at the Sector 36 police station. TNS
