KHARAR: Rayat Bahra International School (RBIS) celebrated its first annual athletics meet wherein Jasjit Singh Sohal, Senior Vigilance Officer of the Punjab Police in Patiala, was the chief guest.

Rayat Bahra International School (RBIS) celebrated its first annual athletics meet wherein Jasjit Singh Sohal, Senior Vigilance Officer of the Punjab Police in Patiala, was the chief guest.

Students of the four houses of the school — Love, Peace, Hope, Unity — took out an impressive march past. Head boy Ishwarveer Singh and head girl Sharanjeet Kaur administered a pledge to students to maintain discipline in the school. Students put up an impressive show of obstacle races and aerobatics exercises.

Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group, along with the chief guest, distributed medals among students.

International basketball player Kiranjeet Kaur, Manjit Bahra and Dr Daljit Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, were present among others. A cultural fiesta by students and parents was the highlight of the day.

Abhilasha Singh, school Principal, proposed a vote of thanks and conveyed her best wishes to the students and the staff.
