Sumitpal Singh beat Munish Bhumbak 6-2 6-2 to win the final of the men’s category on the concluding day of the Sunrise Open Tennis Tournament at Chandigarh Club, Sector 1. In the semifinals, Sumitpal beat Chandan Agnihotri 4-0 4-1, while Bhumbak beat Nishank Thakur 4-0 4-0. In the quarterfinals, Sumitpal defeated Shivam Grover 9-1, and Bhumbak overpowered Tarun 9-3. — TNS
