Three booked for kidnapping two minor girls

PATIALA:The Samana police have booked three people, including two unidentified people for kidnapping two minor girls.

Patiala, April 20

The Samana police have booked three people, including two unidentified people for kidnapping two minor girls. 

The accused have been identified as Gurjeet Singh of Ghagga village and his two unidentified accomplices. 

As per complaint of the girl’s mother, her 15-year-old daughter and her friend had gone to their school to appear in an exam on Monday. However, they did not returned home, she said. 

The complainant said the accused misled the girls on the pretext of marriage and abducted them. 

The police have registered a case against the accused under Sections 363 (kidnapping), 366-A (procuration of minor girl) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the POCSO Act.
