Vehicle thief held, eight two-wheelers recovered

Chandigarh, May 18

The Chandigarh Police have arrested a youth involved in vehicle thefts and recovered eight two-wheelers from the accused. Police sources said the accused had been identified as Lucky (23), a native of Mansa in Punjab. The police said they had information that a vehicle thief was roaming around in Sector 25, following which a naka was laid and the accused was nabbed while riding a stolen motorcycle. Police officials said that his arrest led to the recovery of eight two-wheelers out of which three were stolen from Chandigarh while remaining were stolen from various places in Punjab.

The accused was produced in the court and sent to judicial custody.
