Welfare panel visits Snehalaya

Chandigarh, December 9  

The Social Welfare Committee of the UT Administration led by its Chairman  Satya Pal Jain on Sunday visited Snehalaya, a home for the destitute in Maloya.

Members of the committee interacted with staff and students there.

Some children told Jain that they wanted to join the Army and police after completing their studies.

They said though facilities for playing games were available at the home, they would like to play badminton, football and cricket more effectively. — TNS
