Dhasmana is State Policy and Planning Group chairman

Senior Congress leader Suryakant Dhasmana has been appointed chairman of the Uttarakhand Policy and Planning Group and also senior vice-president of the party.

Uttarakhand Congress president Kishore Upadhyay announced his appointment to the two posts here today. Further, the Uttarakhand Policy and Planning Group will have Rajesh Junwatha, Anand Singh Rawat, Joth Singh Negi, Mohan Pathak, Harish Panaru, Ram Singh Kaira and Jaipal Jatav as general secretaries. All district Congress presidents will be members of this group.

The Uttarakhand Policy and Planning Group will primarily aim to communicate to people about public welfare schemes of the state government. It will also make people aware about the constant reduction in Central allocations for the centrally-sponsored schemes.
