DEHRADUN: The carcass of a leopard was recovered from an agriculture field in the Doiwala area of Dehradun today.

Dehradun, January 13

The carcass of a leopard was recovered from an agriculture field in the Doiwala area of Dehradun today.

Riyaz Ahmed, a farmer of the Jhabrawala area in Dowiala, was aghast to find the leopard’s carcass in his fields this morning. The matter was immediately informed to the forest authorities. The carcass has been sent for a post-mortem.

The post-mortem report attributed to the six-year-old leopard’s death to cold and pneumonia. It was later buried at Lachhiwala.
