Gurugram-based Amila Group is coming up with a township project in the Queen of Hills Shimla, which it claims to be the first of its kind.  The 54-acre development, the first phase of which is already under construction, will have premium residences, high street, club and a luxury hotel.

Situated on the outskirts of  Shimla, Amila Hills is just 16 km from Shimla airport and railway station. The project comprises luxury residences spread across 35 acres and a 5-star hotel-cum-health resort spread across 19 acres. Sharing information about the project Yashpal Agnihotri, Managing Director & Founder, Amila Group said, “This is India’s first organised hill development at the height of 6510ft. As per real estate regulations Act, we have launched first phase of the project having 119 units ranging from studio, 1BHK, 2BHK apartments to 4BHK villas in sizes starting from 991 sq. ft. and going up to 5731 sq. ft. ”.  The Studio apartments are priced at Rs 1 crore and 2 BHK and apartments are in the range of Rs 1.4 to 2 crore, while the villas will cost around Rs 7.64 crore. According to group spokesperson, the apartments will be in ground plus 4 configuration and non-Himachalis can get ownership. The mini city will have facilities like shopping arenas, movie hall, a mini hospital and a conservatory to provide organically grown farm produce to the inhabitants. 

The project will be completed by 2022, according to the spokesperson.  — TNS
