New Delhi, February 20
Senior party leader Ashwani Kumar today met Congress president Sonia Gandhi to discuss the party's strategy in Punjab. The Rajya Sabha MP is learnt to have apprised the Congress president of AAP's plan to launch a mass contact programme in the state.
Ashwani said the central leadership was “seized of the leadership issue in the state” and was expected to take a decision soon, keeping the sentiments of party workers in mind. “There was certainly a talk on the need to end the ongoing feud and to go to the people as a united force,” he said. — TNS
