PANIPAT: A team of the Labour Department on Wednesday rescued 11 bonded labourers, including five women, from a factory in Baljeet Nagar in the city.

A team of the Labour Department on Wednesday rescued 11 bonded labourers, including five women, from a factory in Baljeet Nagar in the city.

PP Kapoor, state coordinator, International Federation of Trade Unions, said the labourers hailed from West Bengal and the owner had not been paying proper wages to them. — TNS
