Bomb attack mock drill in Gurugram

GURUGRAM: The Central Industrial Security Force and the Haryana Police conducted a bomb attack mock drill at Guru Dronacharya metro station here today to check the operational preparedness.

Gurugram, July 18

The Central Industrial Security Force and the Haryana Police conducted a bomb attack mock drill at Guru Dronacharya metro station here today to check the operational preparedness. The metro station controller received a call from an unidentified number claiming that a bomb was planted at the station.

Teams of CISF and Haryana Police reached the station and started a search operation using sniffer dogs. An empty bag was found at the concourse level following which the call was declared as hoax. The metro services were not disrupted during the drill and the commuters were asked to use alternate route to reach the station.
