Jhajjar: The Swadeshi Jagran Manch will launch a statewide campaign from Nuh on July 5  to motivate people to boycott Chinese goods. Two-wheeler rallies will be taken out in every district and public meetings organised during the campaign. Satish Kumar, national chief of the Swadeshi Rashtruta Suraksha Abhiyan, said the campaign aimed at apprising the people of the adverse effects of Chinese items on Indian manufacturing units. “The sale of items made in China is not only causing a trade deficit of $52 billion every year but also shrinking employment opportunities ,” he said. On May 11, the manch submitted copies of a memorandum to the Prime Minister through local authorities in 400 districts nationwide, demanding a ban on Chinese goods in India. Satish said China was making a huge profit by selling its items in India and using this money to cause problems for India in border areas . Vijay Vatsa, state convener of the manch, said after Nuh, the campaign would be held in Gurugram on July 6, Rewari(July 7), Hisar(July 10) and Karnal (July 11). A national conference would be organised in Delhi on October 29 against Chinese items, he added.
