House passes 10 Bills in 1 hr

Chandigarh, August 6

Ten Bills were passed in just one-hour on the concluding day of the Assembly session today. No discussion took place on a number of Bills.

The Sports University of Haryana Bill, 2019, was passed for setting up a sports university in Rai. “It will promote sports education in areas of sports sciences, sports technology, sports management and sports coaching,” said Sports Minister Anil Vij.

The Haryana Gauvansh Sanrakshan and Gausamvardhan Amendment Bill, 2019, was passed to check high acquittal rate. Haryana Municipal (Second Amendment) Bill, 2019, was passed to amend the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973. — TNS
