Additional District and Sessions Judge Shashi Bala Chauhan has awarded 10-year imprisonment to a person for raping an 11-year-old girl. The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 51,000 on the convict.
The victim, a resident of Badoli village, went missing on March 18 last year. Later, she was found unconscious in the house of Ramchander, alias Mahender, of the same village.
The Sadar police had registered a case against Ramchander on the complaint of the victim’s parents and arrested him.
The court has also ordered that in case of non-payment of the fine, the convict will have to undergo further imprisonment of one year.
