Yamunanagar, August 20
A woman and her niece riding pillion on a motorcycle were killed when their vehicle was hit by a truck near Joriyan Naka in Yamunanagar on Tuesday.
They were identified as Rajni (35) of Hamida Colony and Bhavna (4) of Ghilaur village in Yamunanagar.
According to information, Rajni, her son and niece were on their way to Ghilaur village. When they reached near Joriyan Naka, their motorcycle was hit by a truck. Rajni and Bhavna died on the spot. However, Rajni’s son had a narrow escape.
The truck driver managed to flee. A case was registered against him. — TNS
