2 bikers killed in hit-and-run

AMBALA: Two bikers were killed after being hit by a car on Saha-Mullana road, near Markanda bridge, on Wednesday.

Two bikers were killed after being hit by a car on Saha-Mullana road, near Markanda bridge, on Wednesday.

The deceased have been identified as Abdul Qadir of Saharanpur, UP, who was riding the bike, Waseem of Haridwar, who was riding pillion, the police said. A speeding car hit the motorcycle moving ahead of it, following which both the bikers fell on the road. The driver fled. Both the victims were rushed to Mullana hospital where they succumbed to their injuries, the officials revealed. — TNS
