BDO suspended for dereliction of duty

MANDI: The Deputy Commissioner, Lahaul Spiti, suspended the Block Development Officer (BDO), Keylong, for dereliction of duty.

The Deputy Commissioner, Lahaul Spiti, suspended the Block Development Officer (BDO), Keylong, for dereliction of duty.The BDO was stated to be out of station for the past 15 days without prior information and approval of leave from the authority.

Confirming the report, DC Deva Singh Negi said BDO Guarav Dhiman was out of station for the past few days without taking prior approval of leave and had not even informed the authority, which prompted him to take the action against the erring official. The DC stated that a chargesheet would be prepared against the officer and further action would be taken. — TNS
