Jalandhar, January 17
Vehicles were stuck in a jam after a collision between a car and a truck at the Lamma Pind chowk flyover on Thursday afternoon. The car occupants had a narrow escape in the mishap.
Both vehicles were coming from Amritsar and heading towards the PAP chowk. The accident took place when the car driver tried to overtake the truck. The car driver failed to notice an indication and both vehicles collided with each other.
“The mishap between the car and a truck led to a jam,” said Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Balkar Singh from Police Division VIII. After getting information, the ASI reached the spot immediately.
