DC for skill training

Underlining the need for imparting quality skill education to youth, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Varinder Kumar Sharma today said it was the need of the hour to make them self-employed. Interacting with the youth during a valedictory function of the RUDSET organisation here today, the DC said due to enhanced competition, job opportunities in the government sector were restricted. He said in such a scenario, the role of technical education had been enhanced a lot.

Sharma said technical education was a catalyst for transforming the lives of youth.
