Jalandhar, June 28
Deputy Commissioner Police and Executive Magistrate Rajinder Singh has ordered to fix the standards of letters and numerals for number plates on various vehicles. Painters were also directed to keep the record of all number plates written by them. Also, painters would have to maintain a register in this regard to mention the ID proof, mobile number and the registration number of vehicles. The orders would remain in force till August 25 this year.
