Jalandhar, June 13
The pending project of state government for construction work of Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NlFT) was restarted at Surya Enclave on Wednesday.
The work had been lying withheld for over six years. The residents of Surya Enclave and Guru Gobind Singh Avenue had been urging Jalandhar Central MLA Rajinder Beri to pursue the matter with the Department of Industries and get the work restarted. Finally, an allocation of Rs 35 crore had been made recently.
