The police succeeded to nab two of the accused, but their other accomplices managed to escape from the place. The accused allegedly broke open shutters of half a dozen shops and damaged rickshaws and motorcycles parked in the locality.

On a complaint lodged by Gobindpura resident Surinder Mohan, the police registered a case under Sections 452/342/ 427/506/ 148/149 of the IPC against the accused.
