‘Central Government must pass ordinance on Ram Mandir’

LUDHIANA: Kashmiri Lal, organisational secretary, Akhil Bhartiya Swadeshi Jagran Manch, said though there were thousands of Ram temples all over the country but the fact remains that the birth place of Lord Rama is Ayodhya and he has been confined to a make shift temporary structure for the last 25 years.

Kashmiri Lal, organisational secretary, Akhil Bhartiya Swadeshi Jagran Manch, said though there were thousands of Ram temples all over the country but the fact remains that the birth place of Lord Rama is Ayodhya and he has been confined to a make shift temporary structure for the last 25 years.

Lal was addressing a “Dharam sammelan” organised by the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Sewa Samiti at Dana Mandi today. He said, “Shri Ram Janam Bhoomi issue is neither political nor electoral as it is being projected. It is deeply connected with sentiments of Hindus. Those making attempts to relate the Ram temple issue with politics are hurting sentiments of the Hindu community.”

While exhorting Hindus to mobilise themselves for early construction of theRam temple in Ayodhya, Lal urged all the political parties to come out in support for construction of Ram mandir in Ayodhya.

Swami Atul Krishan, Sant Nirmal Singh Naamdhari. Sadhvi Satyapriya, Ved Bharti and Sant Satnam Singh on the occasion urged the Central Government to pass an ordinance or present a Bill in the parliament related to construction of Ram mandir.
