Even four days after polluted water of Buddha Nullah overflowed and entered fields, the affected farmers are still waiting for help from the administration.

The nullah meets the Sutlej near Walipur Kalan village. As the river started swelling, nullah water flowed back and inundated the fields of Gaunspur, Walipur and the nearby villages. A farmer of Gaunspur, Jaspreet Singh, said the Drainage Department had constructed a bundh on the nullah to avert floods but it was breached with rising water.
