Ludhiana: Om Parkash Bansal Modern School organised a science fair for classes VI to X. The fair began with a debate on 'The use of fertilisers is a necessary evil', followed by an interactive session. Students showcased their creativity in the poster-making competition. On the third day, the students organised a rally on the school campus to create awareness about different aspects of science.


Zonal quiz contest organised

A zonal-level quiz competition conducted by ASISC was held at Sacred Heart Convent School, Machhiwara, in junior as well as senior category. A team of two students each from five schools participated. St Mahapragya School's team in the senior category, comprising Parminder Singh & Muskan (Class XI), bagged the third position. The contestants were awarded with trophies and certificates.


Vanamahotsava observed

SDP Senior Secondary School, Hazuri Road, Ludhiana, celebrated the Vanamohotsava week. Students and teachers created awareness about the importance of green and clean environment. The students planted trees to beautify and make the environment green. — TNS
