Ludhiana: Manav Rachna International School organised a programme, conducted by school counsellor Geetanjali Kalia, to inculcate professional work ethics in transport team and support staff.



Ludhiana: Manav Rachna International School organised a programme, conducted by school counsellor Geetanjali Kalia, to inculcate professional work ethics in transport team and support staff. The aim behind it was to ensure safety of kids. The session showcased a power point presentation that depicted tough situations the schools face every day. They were told that children's safety and security was the top priority. Principal Rupali Saini said safety of children was being focused upon. TNS

Awareness on Blue Whale

Ludhiana: UPSC Jain Public School, Chandigarh Road, checked the arms and bags of students to make sure that none of them was involved in the Blue Whale Challenge, an internet game that drives youngsters, mostly teenagers, to commit suicide. The school took the initiative to make students aware by displaying the information about  the effects of the lethal game. Vice Principal Vinny Malhotra asked the students not to misuse the electronic gadgets. TNS

Pact for health check-up

Ludhiana: DCM Presidency School has tied up with SPS Hospital to promote health education. A new infirmary was inaugurated in the school by CEO Anirudh Gupta and Dr Ajay Angrish, COO, SPS, and Tejdeep Singh, head, sales and marketing, SPS. The tie-up would help promote the overall health development of students, parents and the teachers through various activities, such as dental check-up, eye check-up and diabetes check-up. School medical officer 

Dr Pooja Uppal said the tie-up would help create a better healthy living culture among students. TNS

Children taught about circles 

Ludhiana: Students of Cherubs The Preschool, Dugri, learnt the concept and shape of circle through an activity involving bubbles and balloons. They were made to play with a lot of balloons and bubbles to reinforce the shape of circle in their minds. Later, they were made to draw circles in their drawing books. TNS
