Caught on camera: Teen stabbed to death in Surat in broad daylight

Surat, July 14

A shocking incident of a 19-year-old boy being stabbed to death multiple times by three unidentified motorcycle-borne youths near Udhna area of Surat has been caught on a CCTV camera.

The daylight murder has sent shock waves in the area.

In the CCTV footage, teenager Samadhan Pawar, who is on his scooter, is seen intercepted by three motorcycle-borne youths. An argument seems to take place between the assailants and the victims following which two of them attacked Pawar with what appeared to be sharp-edged weapons. 

The accused are seen fleeing the spot even as the teenager falls to the ground from his two-wheeler. Police have launched a hunt for the accused who are yet to be identified. - TNS
