Centre seeks report on DU violence

New Delhi, February 23

The Centre has sought a report from Delhi University in connection with the violence at Ramjas College that left many injured.  “I have asked for a report,” Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar said, though earlier in the day he had ruled out government intervention saying the university was an autonomous institution and the police would take required action.
