ISB climbs world ranking, among top 25 B-schools

Hyderabad: Indian School of Business (ISB) at Hyderabad and Mohali have been jointly ranked 24th internationally in the Financial Times (London) Global MBA Rankings 2019, four positions up from the 2018 ranking.

Hyderabad: Indian School of Business (ISB) at Hyderabad and Mohali have been jointly ranked 24th internationally in the Financial Times (London) Global MBA Rankings 2019, four positions up from the 2018 ranking. ISB is ranked at No 1 in India and is the only business school in the top 25 global ranking. Dean Rajendra Srivastava said the ranking had improved because of emphasis on the selection process and efforts into research on growth markets. TNS

Meghalaya miner’s body retrieved, another spotted 

New Delhi: The body of one of the 15 miners trapped for over a month in a rat-hole coal mine in Meghalaya has been retrieved, state government told the SC on Monday. Another body has been spotted by the Navy, the Centre told a Bench headed by Justice AK Sikri. On behalf of the petitioner, senior counsel Anand Grover told the Bench that de-watering of the mine was necessary to retrieve the bodies. The Bench posted the matter for February 4. TNS
