It’s speaking Pak’s language, says BJP

Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Minister

New Delhi, February 21

After a brief lull, it is an all-out political war over the Pulwama terror attack. The Congress’ strident strike against the BJP, particularly Prime Minister Narendra Modi, received an equally forceful rebuttal from Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad who accused the rival party of speaking the language of Pakistan PM Imran Khan.

“Pakistan would be happy because the Congress is speaking its language. The style may be different, but what the PM of Pakistan and the Congress is saying are essentially similar,” he claimed. Prasad said the Congress should know that regardless of all these connotations, India firmly believes in PM Modi, his leadership and the ability to secure the country. The Opposition party, he said, had shown its “true colours” after maintaining the “façade” of standing with the government and security forces following the terror strike. He also accused the Congress of trying to weaken the morale of the armed forces at a time when the whole world was “firmly standing” with India.

In Andhra Prsdeah, BJP chief Amit Shah alleged the problem in Kashmir, because of which Pakistan was carrying out such attacks against India, was all because of the first PM. — TNS
