LTC norms relaxed for train travel

New Delhi: The Centre on Friday allowed its lakhs of employees to take money four months ahead of commencing journey under the leave travel concession (LTC) rules.



New Delhi: The Centre on Friday allowed its lakhs of employees to take  money four months ahead of commencing journey under the leave travel concession (LTC) rules. Existing rules allow an employee to draw advance for LTC for himself and his family members 65 days before the journey. From April 1, 2015, the time limit for drawing LTC advance has been increased to four months and five days in case of journey by train. PTI
