Three children drown in village pond in Ajmer

Three children of a Banjara family, including a girl, drowned in a pond at Budhwara village of Ajmer district on Sunday afternoon.

The children had gone to bathe in the Chipolia pond. Villagers rushed to the pond after hearing their cries, and took them out but they were all dead by the time the police arrived from Pisangan thana.

The children were identified as Anita (10), Jonu (8), and Vikrama (12), the police said.
