‘Let CBI probe Bhola drug case’

Mohali: Reiterating his demand for a CBI probe into the Jagdish Bhola drug racket, Jagjit Singh Chahal, an accused in the case, said only the premier investigating agency could conduct a fair inquiry. Talking to mediapersons after attending a court hearing on Tuesday, Chahal said AAP leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira was saying nothing new by demanding a CBI investigation. “I have been making this demand for the past four years,” said Chahal. Meanwhile, the statement of Amrik Singh, a photographer, was recorded in the court. Bhola was among those present in the court. The next hearing would take place on Wednesday. TNS
