2 killed as car collides with Army vehicle

KATHUA: Two persons were killed and another seriously injured when a car they were travelling in collided with an Army bus on the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway on Tuesday night.

Two persons were killed and another seriously injured when a car they were travelling in collided with an Army bus on the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway on Tuesday night.

The deceased have been identified as Jann Masti, a resident of Majitha, and Yusuf of Rampur, Bathinda, Punjab. The injured was identified as Amritpal Singh of Majitha.

According to the police, the incident took place when the victims were on their way to Jammu from Punjab.

The police shifted all three injured to a nearby hospital, where two were declared brought dead. The third injured was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital in Jammu.
