The Bargari Insaf Morcha candidate from Anandpur Sahib constituency Vikramjit Singh Sodhi joined the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) today in presence of its Punjab unit chief Rashpal Singh Raju.

Sodhi’s candidature was announced by parallel Akal Takht acting Jathedar Bhai Dhian Singh Mand on February 6.

Raju said the BSP along with the Punjabi Ekta Party, Lok Insaaf Party, Bargari Insaf Morcha and United Akali Dal would contest 2019 General Elections under the banner of the Punjab Democratic Alliance (PDA).

Though a decision related to allocation of seats has not been finalised to date, the PDA has unanimously decided to leave Anandpur Sahib parliamentary seat for the BSP, he said.
