Dues not paid, PSPCL snaps 14 connections in Talwara

TALWARA (HOSHIARPUR): In a bid to recover dues, the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has snapped 14 connections of public sector establishments in the Talwara region, including those related to officers, water supply schemes and Sewa Kendras.

In a bid to recover dues, the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has snapped 14 connections of public sector establishments in the Talwara region, including those related to officers, water supply schemes and Sewa Kendras.

On Friday, the PSPCL snapped nine connections, including that of Sewa Kendras and government departments. Similar action was taken against four such institutions last evening.

SDO Varun Chadda said out of the total 13 connections snapped in the last 24 hours, nine were of Sewa Kendras. Other connections snapped were included that of the Naib Tehsildar, Talwara office, and the patwar work station.

Prior to this, the connections of government dispensary in Datarpur, water supply scheme of Redu Patti, water supply of Labber, besides some Sewa Kendras were snapped last evening.
