Sangrur, November 10
Panic gripped the staff and patients of Sangrur Civil Hospital when a group of youth allegedly attacked a patient in the emergency ward last evening. The videos of attack have gone viral on social media. The police have registered a case and started further investigations.
Sukhwinder Singh, ASI, said a case had been registered against Baljinder Singh, Mandeep Singh, Khushdeep Singh and Bittu Singh for allegedly attacking a resident of their village. The FIR was registered under the IPC and the Punjab Prevention of Damage to Public and Private Property Act, 2014. — TNS
