Teachers clash with police in Patiala, again

PATIALA: Protesting teachers on Tuesday again clashed with police near YPS roundabout here after they tried to reach Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh''s residence.

Protesting teachers on Tuesday again clashed with police near YPS roundabout here after they tried to reach Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh's residence.

On Sunday, 10 people were injured as police lathicharged a group of teachers that was marching towards the CM's residence to protest against conditions for their regularisation, police said.

The police had booked 50 teachers, including 10 union leaders of Adhyapak Sangharsh Committee, yesterday.
