Chandigarh civic body constitutes 12 sub-committees

Chandigarh, April 7

Mayor Ravi Kant Sharma today constituted 12 sub-committees. The details have been sent to the UT Administration for approval and notification. The committees give suggestions and issues are taken up in the House.

The sanitation committee has Bharat Kumar, Shakti Prakash Devshali, Farmila, Asha Jaswal, Jagtar Singh, Sunita Dhawan, Sheela Devi, Charanjiv Singh and Shipra Bansal as members.

Likewise, nine members each were named for the environment and city beautification committee, the electricity committee, the fire and emergency services panel, the apni mandi and day market committee, the women committee, the enforcement committee, the slum, colonies and village development committee, the arts and culture panel, the cattle upkeep committee, the vendors’ welfare and primary health committees. — TNS
